Try this easy, dehydrated, lemon ginger turmeric tea for a warming pick-me-up on cold days. It’s a personal favorite for enjoying after a brisk autumn walk, or after a long day on my feet. It only needs the three ingredients, and can be prepared with just a few minutes prep time, and your dehydrator.
This tea can be made in a few ways. You can use some grated fresh ginger and turmeric, with slices of fresh lemon if you want a fresh tea. Or, you can make this as a dehydrated, chunky tea blend, or you can make it dehydrated and powder it to make a smoothie style hot drink that’s a bit less like a tea.
No matter how you like it, this lemon ginger turmeric tea, makes a great drink and is an awesome way to get some of the anti-inflammatory benefits of turmeric. Turmeric is also a natural dye, and you can even get some of it’s benefits through your skin.
Note: Use organic lemons for this recipe, as the skin is left on. Make sure to wash the lemons in a vinegar based fruit wash, before dehydrating them. If using conventional lemons, wash the lemons with dish soap, and rinse with just boiled water to remove any wax residuals on the lemon skin.

I am in process of dehydrating the fruits now but am wondering if you have any idea as to amounts needed –eg. how many grams each of turmeric and ginger is needed to balance out the 2 lemons? Also weight of lemons as there are different sized lemons on the market shelves?
Thank you very much for these recipes.
