Herbal Bath Salts Recipe
(formulated for romance)
Yield: 1 quart — about 8 relaxation baths
2 cups of dead sea salts
1 cup of Himalayan Pink salt
1 cup of French Grey salt
2 tbsp. powdered eleuthero root (Siberian ginseng)
3 tbsp. calendula infused olive oil
20 drops of rosemary essential oil
20 drops of lavender essential oil
8 drops of atlas cedarwood essential oil
Mix the salts together in a bowl. Add the eleuthero root powder to the salt. Mix well. Put the infused olive oil on top of the salt. Add the essential oils to the olive oil. Mix the olive oil in with the salt mixture, thoroughly.
Place the mixture into a wide mouth glass jar. Store in a glass jar.
To use this bath salt mixture, fill the bathtub with hot water that isn’t so hot that it will burn you. The bath should be as warm as you can tolerate but not so hot that it makes you dizzy. Put 1 hollow handful of the bath salts in the bathtub. Stir to dissolve the salts.
Soak for a minimum of 20 minutes in the bath to gain the relaxation benefits of this mineral soak.
Beware of the danger of slipping. The oil in the bath salts can make the bathtub slippery. Add a bath mat to the tub if you are not secure on your feet. Use a handrail to enter and exit your tub, for safety.
