Blog Giveaway:
On Friday I told you about one of my favourite products, for making fast food from scratch. I also told you about some of the many ways that I use the Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil from Tropical Traditions. You can read that article here:ย Coconut Oil:ย My Secret Ingredient for Fast food from scratch
The folks at Tropical Traditions kindly gave me a 1 litre container of their best coconut oil — Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil, the same product that I reviewed on Friday — in order to give it away here, on my blog.
Win 1 quart ofย Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil!
Tropical Traditions is America’s source for coconut oil.
Their Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil is hand crafted in small batches by family producers, and it is the highest quality coconut oil they offer. You can read more about how virgin coconut oil is different from other coconut oils on their website:
What is Virgin Coconut Oil?
You can also watch the video they produced about Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil:
Tropical Traditions also carries other varieties of affordable high quality coconut oil. Visit their website to check on current sales, to learn about the many uses of coconut oil, and to read about all theย advantages of buying coconut oil online.ย Since the FDA does not want us to discuss the health benefits of coconut oil on a page where it is being sold or given away, here is the best website to read about the health benefits of coconut oil.

Frustration is setting in. I wrote a very nice comment and typed in the captcha code – and it told me that it was wrong. I clicked the back arrow – and my comment is gone. sigh. I’m trying again.
I have been following your blog and facebook for a while now. My husband would never accept a complete change to a healthier diet all at once so I’m changing a little at a time. What he doesn’t know – won’t hurt him – and will help him. lol Our biggest change has been butter instead of oleo. We use olive oil instead of shortning. I don’t salt any of the food but I do use a lot of herbs for seasoning. I use a lot of onions and garlic for seasoning. We are growing herbs in pots and in my flower bed. I have peppermint in several sections. I also grow Lemon Balm. Both spread so we may have a yard full of them if we aren’t careful. I planted peppermint in one flower bed that I planted cotton in this year. I want to see how they grow. Next year, if the peppermint doesn’t spread out enough, I will plant some herbs in the other end. I would love to try coconut oil.
