Pomegranate with Kombucha Dressing Recipe

Description

This easy recipe has kombucha with all its great flavour and health benefits.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup kombucha that has gotten vinegary-tasting
  • 1/4 cup pomegranate juice, I used POM brand
  • 1/4 cup poppy seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon dijon mustard
  • 1 clove of garlic, crushed
  • 2 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon Himalayan salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder (#ad)

Instructions

  1. Soak poppy-seeds overnight or for at least 2 hours in kombucha vinegar
  2. In a Vita-mix or other blender pour soaked poppyseeds with their kombucha, pomegranate juice, mustard, garlic, oils, salt and turmeric
  3. Blend until thick and creamy — about 1 min
  4. Refrigerate until just before serving
