Creative Spark Day 8 – Angles of Colour
Today’s Creative Spark makes use of colour and line.ย Each day’s Creative Spark is a creativity exercise that takes 15 minutes or less, that allows your mind to relax while you exercise the creative, intuitive side of your brain, instead of the analytical side.ย This allows for more creative problem solving and forges new neuropathways for future creative thinking.ย In just 15 minutes a day, you can be on your way to solving some of those difficult problems that you are facing on your homestead.ย So grab a cuppa and let’s play with colour and lines.
Materials:
Metallic Sharpie Marker
Pencil Crayons
Ruler to draw lines
Artist Trading Cards – Water colour paper or other paper
Directions (Only takes 15 minutes or less):
Draw straight lines on your card as you did in Day 1, with your metallic marker, but this time make the lines closer together and parellel.ย Include an area of interest with several angles in 1/3rd of the paper.
Colour in the blocks so that each block has a different colour and no two adjacent blocks share the same colour.ย Make use of warm colours (red, yellow, orange, brown) and cool colours (blue, green, grey) in the picture.
Frame your picture with the metallic marker.
